If you are not familiar with our counseling services and your first contact with us is online, we would be pleased to hear from you. Please let us know what your needs and questions are; we will be more than happy to help. If you are skeptical about the effectiveness of therapy and/or you’ve had a bad or unproductive experience with another therapist, I’m sorry, and I understand. I’m a realist and tend to be very skeptical of others’ services as well; call me a pessimist if you like. But I just want people to “shoot straight” with me and not tell me what I want to hear but need to hear. Counseling can only be as effective as the client is willing for it to be. It is certainly not an easy process but worth it in the end.
I have constructed a list of FAQ that will hopefully assist you in determining whether I am the right counselor (or coach) for you or not. I don’t want us to waste the time we have. If you still have a question, please, feel free to email me, and I’ll answer your question whether it’s for you or someone else you care about. If I need to refer you to another professional, I do not mind doing so. In fact, I partner often with Deanna Rasnic of Rasnic Counseling, PLLC here in Allen. I have known Deanna and worked with her for years, and I trust her implicitly.
